Design Within Reach series

This is the third image from a total of 5, of a three part project that is in collaboration with Design Within Reach - Milwaukee.

part 1 is not completed yet, and part 3 will be shot in a week or so and is with clothing designer Heather Hambrecht.

i will put up more information as the full project develops.

all of the images will be exhibition the third Friday of April at which time i will be in attendance at Design Within Reach - Milwaukee for the opening night!

Technical information:

Two lights, plus the prop light hanging over the models head and one bouce disk, with metallic gold covering.

One spot light, diffused on lowest setting, up and over her face, on the right side, about 10 ft away from her. Another spot light diffused, on lowest setting, on the left side.

Pretty simple lighting really. Minimal, moody and with a medium grey backdrop - NO backlighting.

Using a Canon 5D, with about a 35mm lens. low aperture, high shutter speed.

The goal is to have the light actually look lit, to not flatten out its lighting nor take away from its glow.
